DR CONTROL 2.1.1

TASCAM DR CONTROL is an app designed to provide remote control functionality for the DR-22WL/DR-44WL Linear PCM Recorders over Wi-Fi. This app allows users to effortlessly manage recordings on the DR-22WL/DR-44WL using a smartphone or tablet, liberating them from the constraints of being tied to a computer location.

With TASCAM DR CONTROL, users can remotely adjust recording levels, filter settings, organize files, and facilitate file transfers between the DR-22WL/DR-44WL and their smartphone or tablet devices. Moreover, users have two connectivity options to choose from:

• “VIA ROUTER” mode enables wireless remote control by connecting a smartphone or tablet to a Wi-Fi router in a studio or at home. This mode accommodates remote control alongside the use of email, maps, or other apps and online services simultaneously.
• “TO DEVICE” mode allows for direct one-to-one connection with the DR-22WL/DR-44WL, making remote control feasible in outdoor environments where a Wi-Fi router is inaccessible.

The Version 2.0 firmware update is available for download on both the TASCAM website and through the app itself, empowering users to effortlessly update their DR-22WL/DR-44WL devices independently. Additionally, access to the TASCAM DR CONTROL app installation and updates is provided free of charge.

*Kindly note that firmware versions below might not support updates through this app: DR-44WL System F/W: 1.2.0, 1.2.1 DR-22WL System F/W: 1.2.0, 1.2.1, 1.2.2 For users of these versions, firmware updates should be conducted using the main unit following instructions available on tascam.com
